James' final outing with the Soviets before University and a rousing victory to boot! His JS2's finally delivered making short work of my Tiger's in 2 turns of seriously good command rolls! Ultimately the first three turns did huge damage to the Germans already outnumbered 2:1 at the start. Whilst the Germans ultimately did do some harm in a couple of sectors it was much too little too late and they broke on a test of 7. pics here

Thank you one and all. No sympathy for the devil then? The Third Reich stumbles towards it's inevitable and richly deserved end (despite being commanded by meStunned).

James' back from Uni so out came the Soviets for the follow up scenario into the city itself. No pics but the battlefield basically the same but with more fighting in the streets! The Germans inflicted more casualties on the Soviets (5 Panthers v's 15 T34's outside the city being a highlight!) but the inevitable happened with the low number of German forces remaining leading to a break test at 5! Time line now January 1945.
