Scroll down a bit to see the pictures. A great game and enjoyed by all. This was the third attempt at taking the heights an the first time the Russians actually got to Seelow itself. Rules were BKC2. Enjoy the pictures. Link below.

Note: we also tried to book a table for 2015 and were told that the show may not happen so could not book a table. No reason given so will have to watch the web site.

Thanks for comments guys. Most of the tanks are Takara plastics. Some of the Russian SU's are metal Arrowhead Miniatures with the infantry and softskins from Pendraken. Buildings are Timecast.

I will put the OOB's on the website this weekend.

Great AAR and super looking terrain. Where's the Salamander experimental jet from? Scratch build?
Cheers

Hi guys, the OOB's and maps are now on the web site. The salamander jet was from F-Toys (ebay), the Stuka is Takara and the two Sturmoviks are Zvezda.

At Cold Steel; we originally started with twice the number of Russians you see on the table!!!! It got way to big even for the 12' x 6' table.

2 quick questions of that's ok.....

Can't seem to click through to see the maps ?

Did you work out the points for both sides when doing the OOBs?

Cheers

There went my hopes of taking it to Historicon this year. Even with the airbrush, I can't paint that many in time.

New links to the maps added to the web page below the OOB's.
I'll post the points later.

Points for the game came out as:

Russians - 13,795

Germans - 7,430 (excluding bunkers, trenches etc which we let them have free of charge Shock)

ID ....could you have a punt at the cost of the German Field Defences please...?
I can't guess from the write up ...
You've inspired me in trying to work out the game for potential use here!
Cheers!

Hi AJ it was approx 850 points of defences at least 2 concrete Pak bunkers, 1 command bunker, 4-6 MG bunkers, all the ATG's and flak in gun pits including the jagdtiger, all the infantry in trenches, two minefields (unmarked) and although not used on the day about 20 wire markers - the Germans forgot to deploy itGrin
