Posted on 02 December 2013 at 20:00:07 GMT Well, setting up quick scenarios requires a few things in my opinion. 1: make sure the forces are pretty even. That way if your scenario backfires, the troops still have a fighting chance against each other. 2: make sure you have some kind of sudden death objective. Be it break points, turn limit to reach something or something that must be captured. That way there is a set end to a game, making it faster to play out. It also stops 'camping' and speeds up gameplay i think. 3: don't make it too complicated! It's meant to be fun! 4: if possible, base your scenario around something you just painted. It always gives more pleasure using new stuff and gives you a motivation to get it started |
