Solo game I'm planning to play tomorrow as I have the day off but must wait in for a delivery. so what better way to spend the day then by playing some BCK?

A Polish force must attempt to stop the Germans breaking out of the Falaise Gap. Based on the Rapid Fire scenario Mont Ormel from the N/W Europe supplement.

Just finished setting up the table ready to kick off tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll get an AAR published tomorrow night.

Good luck with that, and I hope the Germans haven't taken the opportunity to escape during the night! Grin

Just finished turn 5 and I'm taking a break for a spot of lunch. It's a nail biter at the moment!

Very good, well done the Poles for holding them. I might even reduce the scenario to eight turns rather than increase it, force the Germans to close with the Poles more.

Either that or widen the Polish deployment to make sure the Germans have to do some fighting...

Yeah agreed. On reflection the setup gave the Germans too many ways to stay out of range.

Might replay it at some point, but then again I already have far too many other scenarios I want to try!

Hah, good point Smile On a draw-ish it looks like it ended up hard work for everyone, so can't be too bad Grin

Onto the next! Chase 'em back to Berlin, then follow on to Warsaw. Those Russians will need kicking back out of Poland as well...
