Posted on 31 October 2012 at 00:53:22 GMT Hi Everyone I'm soon to be playing BKC (waiting for the book now) I was wondering if anyone has or knows any good scenarios for Canadian forces in the Normandy Campaign. I'm hoping to play the campaign with my gaming group (get them hooked on WW2 wargaming) |

Posted on 31 October 2012 at 11:54:06 GMT The new 'Blenneville or Bust!' scenario pack from TooFatLardies might be just what you're looking for? 32 scenarios for £9.50 is a bargain if you ask me! |

Posted on 31 October 2012 at 14:02:30 GMT Thanks that looks great. but I should have clarified that I was thinking historical scenarios so we could replay the Normandy Campaign. May still try that book just for fun. |

Posted on 31 October 2012 at 15:17:45 GMT The rapid-fire website has some Canadian Normandy scenarios - I seem to remember there was a minicampaign run on that theme. http://www.rapid-fire-uk.com/category/scenarios... Doesn't GHQ also have a volume dedicated to the Canadian army in WW2 - don't know if this includes scenarios. The Battleground Normandy series published by Sutton Publishing, would be a good place to start reading around for scenario ideas, they have volumes on Juno and the push for Caen, both of which discuss the Canadian role at length, if I remember correctly. |

Posted on 31 October 2012 at 15:52:00 GMT I'm slowly working through Canadians in Normandy battles. Next one will be Buron July 1944. I did the Buron June 1944 battle, but it is too one sided (German). Here is a great page with scenarios: http://www.fireandfury.com/scenarios.shtml I recommend any book by Mark Zuehlke. Great information to make your own scenarios. Eric a Canadian Expat |

Posted on 02 November 2012 at 10:29:52 GMT If you want to build your own scenarios, there's a lot of great info in No Holding Back: Operation Totalize, Normandy, August 1944 http://www.amazon.com/No-Holding-Back-Operation... |
