Posted on 19 March 2012 at 20:50:51 GMT Day off today so managed to give my AVBCW Brigands a bash at raiding the BUF's supplies: https://sites.google.com/site/avbcwstormcloudsg... |

Posted on 21 March 2012 at 16:02:12 GMT Another excellent report Nik. Every time I read one of these AVBCW AAR I think on how it could be adapted for scenarios over here in Canada. It wouldn't be so much regular forces, but it would be interesting to see how other factions would take advantage of the situation (ie First Nations, French Separatists, etc.) I was even thinking about a mini invasion from the States in favour of the anti-Royalist faction. A forced river crossing on the St. Lawrence would be a cool scenario indeed. |

Posted on 21 March 2012 at 22:54:42 GMT Thanks guys - really enjoyed scrapping this one out. Those Quads were being used as non-armoured transports & I was hoping to debus the infantry to assault the BUF on the hilltop...best laid plans etc though! I'm quite tempted to look at up-armouring them & using them as early IFVs somehow - perhaps with a Lewis gun to at least give them some [limited] firepower... You should definitely do some Canadian gaming related to AVBCW...would be great - trick is to localise it both to your geography & history & then also bring in some characters from people you know as faction leaders etc |

" Ooo, ow. I can feel the result from here! Maybe save 6, AT - AP 1/30 for 'up armoured' versions? Would make the 'mounted close assault' quite a valid tactic... and perhaps give a counter to the swarms of CV3/33's the BUF seem to have |

Posted on 22 March 2012 at 23:17:44 GMT Yep - I think the Bilbao stats will do nicely... "swarms of CV3/33s" - what, all two of 'em? |

Posted on 25 March 2012 at 19:17:36 GMT This might pique your interest more Panzerleader. Some Canadian units fighting for the Albertines; just scroll down the page to see some more info. Generally, well worth checking out for some nice figures, flags etc. http://panzerkaput.blogspot.co.uk/ |
