Played a real life historical scenario on the Kursk salient using BKC last night. Great game and you will need to read the report to find out if history was repeated.

House rules used were off-board medium mortars, no breakpoint and force selection historical.

Looks like a good game, Paul - nice to see an infantry-only action for a change Smile

Nice game! Out of interest how did you rule the off Table Mortars?

Thanks for all your comments. Much appreciated. I wish I could have taken more photo's but I was too absorbed in the game.

The off-board mortars were kept simple to work exactly like artillery. Called in by the FAO, 3 attack dice. Reduced the blast area to 10cm x 10cm.

Good starter/quick scenario that one, easily converted to other fronts/armies too. Wonder if/when parts I and III will come out. The BFWWII stuff is so good for adapting to other sysyems especially BKC. Any particular reason you changed the German mortar from 12cm?
Really like the basing simple but very effective. Cool

The mortar was an error on our part. I did not realise it should have been larger until I was going over my battle report. One of those wargamer gloss over the lists moments. Doh!

Dave, bunkers are from Miniature World Maker. I love their stuff. In fact, all the terrain was Miniature World Maker.
