Posted on 22 January 2010 at 20:43:39 GMT Hello all, Here are some pictures from a recent Blitzkrieg Commander game played at Walt’s Hobby shop in Syracuse, NY. The game used the mid war German and Russian lists and both armies were approximately 3200 points. I really enjoyed playing this game and I am already making plans for another game using the version 2 rules. http://www.flickr.com/photos/usbattlefields/set... -Bryan |

Posted on 23 January 2010 at 05:13:33 GMT Bryan, What was the base cloth / material made from? It seems flexible but also to keep its shape over formers below despite units on top? Great troops, scenery and photos too. Carl Luxford |

Posted on 23 January 2010 at 14:07:48 GMT Thanks for the comments. The miniatures are 15mm. Most are from battlefront but I also mixed in some Peter Pig and Old Glory. Yes, the KO markers are from Litko. As you can see from the pictures we had a lot of destroyed tanks. So, if you’re doing an armor on armor battle you’re going to need a lot of them. The grass mat is from the Terrain Guys. Under the mat we used polyfill. |

Posted on 23 January 2010 at 21:53:44 GMT Polyfill? Never?!! Surely not? I was thinking good old Donald Featherstone with books or old socks under the grass mat!! Well I be damned...polyfill? Go on HOW!!? Carl 'still dreaming of a set up like that in your photos' Luxford |

Posted on 26 January 2010 at 20:44:20 GMT Carl - I think 'polyfill' is the stuff you bung inside pillows - not 'Polyfilla', which our trans-Atlantic brethren will know as 'spackle'. |
