Started on doing 3rd Canadian Infantry Division nearly completed 8th Brigade but wondering if anyone knew if anyone did some highlanders or bagpipers for my command stands for the highland battalions present?

I thought they were on a recent Pendraken email.

Theres nothing obvious on the website - I thought maybe there would be one in a commando command set (a la Pegasus Bridge) but I haven't seen one.

Maybe you could use some of the Pendraken WW1 Highlanders [code = BP15, 30 figures for £3] as stand-ins...IIRC they're wearing kilts, pretty certain there's a piper in there [email Dave to make sure]

I thought that "Highland" units didn't where kilts in action after 1940? Bagpipers retained their pipes after this date, but otherwise they'll look lile normal infantry, but with bonnets, not the SD cap/beret?Huh?

It was only really a piper to represent the highlander units command stands rather than anything else.

Ahhhh. I think that you may (only MAY!) have a problem - after 1940 even pipers are not in kilts! I came up against this in 20mm and I'm yet to scratch build some pipes!
