I have a lot of American and Japanese Micro Armor on order. I am looking for models to make the HQ and CO bases. I can get jeeps or trucks no problem. What are people using for command figures with radio / binoculars etc? I'm not seeing any in the individual infantry packs I ordered.

Suggestions appreciated. Some excellent examples in the gallery, just wondered what manufacturer and pack.

I have Adler figures and so I used the figures in the command strips (off hand, for the Americans, it's a guy with binoculars, a radio operator (with radio, or at least that's what it looks like), a guy speaking into the radio mic, and another guy I use as someone handing over orders. There may be another figure as well. My CO base has all of the figures while the HQs mix and match subsets.

Unfortunately, Adler doesn't make any Japanese figures (though I suppose you could always ask).

I wonder if you could 'bodge' one of the Adler ACW Officers with a kepi (perhaps sword too). In 6mm I recon a kneeling dude with a radio would be easy to 'paint convert', I think some of the Adler radio guys have bareheads. I am sure it can be done!!!

H&R make Japanse, so do Irregular, with specific command bases for the Japanse, inculding a standard bearer.
