Yeah, I know, this should probably be in the CWC section. But as it's a battalion that could of faced E-50s and other such 'nonsense' and as it will go in my WW2 Soviet army...

The T-54-1 is a H&R model but I replaced their (perfectly fine) mg with one from CinC. The decals are by I-94/Beacon.

Just need to photograph the entire battalion now.

Smart! Must be a good camera to get that zoom?

It's a Fujifilm Finepix S1850 (if I remember correctly) on an 'auto' setting so there was no great skill involved to be honest.

Oddly enough, I've found that cheaper cameras actually take better photos of miniatures - they have a deeper depth of field than more expensive ones, which tends to work better for mini's

Here's a simple guide a did a few years ago if it's useful http://www.madaxeman.com/main/photographin...

Should add that I got the camera cheap (£60-70) at Cash Converters. No case, manual etc.

My old mobile takes better pics than new one, but a matter of luck and viewing picture back on bigger screen to see if it's focussed properly. I would like to be a bit more sure and the camera described sounds like a good option. Thanks for advice.
