Despite distractions like moving furniture - (a new couch required movements of old stuff to the tip, the Chesterfield into the mancave, and the bicycles into the pool-shed..) I managed to get some paint on the Panzer Grenadiers. I was trying for an oak-leaf camouflage - not convinced, but here they are anyway.

That's the same technique I use for 6mm camo! Works pretty well - are you sure the "too dark" brown might not be just down to lighting? Most of the figures in the photos look fine Smile

Well, better than fine, really Grin

Difficult to see in the pics, but I wouldn't be too concerned in 6mm Wink

As Pete says. You'll know if you've got it right. I did my best work on Paras, and it's hard to see. I have to get my faces and hands right and have used pin points for accuracy on everything.Cool

Nice work, but inspired by Airfix magazines I was waiting to hear that you had started with a box of dates... I am sure that was what they modelled half their Seelowe conversions on ;-)

They had so many dates that they couldn't choose a D-DAY?
