Picked up some boxes of these from the PSC stand at the Bovington Tank Museum show last weeked. Only had a change to put together one of each sofar but they are cracking little models. Highly recommended.

I’ll take some pictures and post them over the weekend.

Well they are a delight to assemble. The Turret on the Cromwell took a couple of attempts, but once you've cracked it on the first it's easy on the rest. The Single piece tracks are very welcome. Not time to do a full review as of yet, my other half decided to eat into my modeling time by insisting I spend time with her over the weekend. Dammed selfish if you ask me!

The Stuart is lovely looking model and a doodle to put together However it has an unusual problem. It's far too large!

Here is next to a Battlefront Stuart. Notice the difference! Overall this doesn’t bother me as I never planned on mixing them anyway, but it is something to keep in mind.

That's quite a difference, I'd read somewhere else that the PSC model was quite tall aswell. Can you post the PSC model dims? (although I will no doubt measure my BF one to work out which is closer to 1/100)

Yeah that is quite a bit bigger, but not necessarily wrong!

PSC
Height 25mm (to top of turret)
Length 49mm (not including stowage at rear)
Width 23mm

Battlefront
Height 23mm
Length 45mm
Width 20mm

According to Wikipedia the dimensions of the Stuart tank are as follows:

Height 2.29 m
Length 4.33 m
Width 2.47 m

So it looks like Battlefront is more accurate in terms of height and length and PSC more accurate in terms of width.

I think the Wiki dims are for the M3 and the M5 was longer will have to check on that though.

Wiki entry for M8 which other than the height perhaps should be the same

Bovvy liststhe following for their example (which is perhaps the one PSC based theirs on)

H 2.56
L 4.83
W 2.28

On that basis I'd give the win to PSC

That's a good point. I took the stats from the M3 entry on Wikipedia. The Bovington stats however seem to match PSC model almost exactly.
