Got my 1/2 this morning and I am impressed. It is in neutral grey plastic which took the paint well. there is a little pre construction painting the driver/co driver but it went together very well with no need for any filling which is unusual in kits with flat face construction. The instruction sheet is clear and straight forward and the extras, infantry, stowage etc are well cast. It scales up well against other manufacturers I can recommend this kit.

Certainly look the part. Grin

What were they like to build? Built a lot of their shermans & StuG's which was fun but these seem to be getting more like trditional model kits rather than fast/easy build wargame models.

very straight forward. If you don't count the time painting the driver crew figures it took me about 30mins

Ian,

M5 due out in April in 15mm and May in 1/72. April also for the M5 Stuart which has options for M5, M5A1, M5A3 & M8. (The M5A3 is a new one on me though)

I did wonder that myself. I can't find any reference anywhere to an M5A3 Stuart, not even as a prototype.

I wonder if this is a just a typing error, though I can't think what they meant to type instead.

I did consider that, but didn’t the M3 have a completely different hull? If the M3 hull was included in the kit wouldn’t that also give the options for the M3, M3A1 and M3A3?

I would have thought the M3 Stuart would end up as a separate kit in its own right.

I'm sure we will find out soon enough.
