I'm looking for a few medium/heavy trucks for German early war use. Something different from the normal Opel Blitz, suitable for a bridging train. Something like the 4.5 tonne L4500 or one of the 6 x 4 trucks.

I have trawled the usual manufacturers but can't find anything. Does anyone have some ideas?

Thanks, Keith.

QRF do the half track version LR4500 so that is perhaps a starting point and their Praga 6x4 could be an option.

They just do the bog-standard Opel 3-tonner.

Depending on how early in war?

Post Poland you could use Polish, Czech, possibly Italian / Fiat?

Post France 1940, then British & French, Belgian & Dutch for use in early Russia?
