Old Glory UK have a good range of 15mm WW2 aircraft suitable for BKC games. The HS-123 is a less well known option for a ground attack unit, useable in SCW, Poland, Balkans, and Russia up to 1944.

I was pleased with my purchase - a good quality model:

An interesting comparison with the 2D card models found by SteveJ can be made by checking this post on his blog:

Agreed good review and BKC link too!

My Airfix Henschels have yet to make it to the games table (a project that keeps getting put off!) but your blog has inspired me!

Like you I like to have high altitude pose but sometimes I find my 20mm aircraft, (especially two engine fighter bombers etc) take some holding up on end of a long clear acetate rod, so bases can look clumsy when big to do this.

Anyone make Henschel.123 in 10mm?

(For my 6mm I can cheat and use other biplanes!! from Irregulars 6mm range with little conversion! mainly paint job)

Excellent Keith - I always find "a reasonable does of swearing" as useful as knife, glue, files etc when modelling SmileGrinSmile
