Posted on 01 May 2012 at 20:23:39 GMT Hello guys, Having no patience to paint figurines and preferring to play numerous battles, I make my armies under frome of tokens, and gaming table on green cardboard. It is evidement less beautiful that figurines but it allows to play at a lower cost any kind of army on any battlefield. Link : http://kriegsspielcommander.blogspot.fr/ |

Posted on 02 May 2012 at 05:55:33 GMT Looks very professional to me. Only thing on the negative side is the need to know the various tac symbols, though this would be relatively easy and rewarding way to learn them. Must try this, merci! |

Posted on 02 May 2012 at 13:20:17 GMT For the symbols tactics on markers, the simplest it is to make a reference index card rather than to hold them. I also have a series of markers without characteristics (just the tactical symbol and the typeof unit). I post it having made some photos. |

Posted on 02 May 2012 at 19:20:01 GMT I tried out a number of WWII rules using my old Squad Leader counters and boards. I could never make my own counters up to Ironmax standard. |

Posted on 02 May 2012 at 19:48:19 GMT These counters are not very hard to make: I used Microsoft Word (yes only) for the graphics. I printed on some self-adhesive paper A4. I stuck the A4 sheet on some 2mm cardboard. I cut counters by means of a cuter. That it's all |

Posted on 02 May 2012 at 20:50:31 GMT We used the counters of the Yaquinto Games "Panzer, 88 and Armour" for tabletopgames. The counters are rather thick with topviews of vehicles, squads etc and had about the size of 1:285 miniatures. So suited well. AH´s "Tobruk" had also nice counters but smaller. |
