Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any suggestions of what to use for 1940 French command stands in 10mm. Pithead include a few officers in the infantry packs, although to be honest I prefer Pendraken infantry sculpts so would only relly want to buy officers by themselves. Pendraken do not seem to have any officers in their range at all.

Any ideas?

Greetings

Pendraken WWI French high command? Probably better as a CO stand though.

The Pendraken WW2 French platoon leader could be added in.
Alternatively there's a 1920's FFL officer pack (though I suspect they've got a neck cover.

Try WW1 Belgians from Irregular. You can buy individual figures.

Kalle- These command groups should be part of a painter's masterclass! Klasse!
The models also help to provide space to paint them well.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

Richard, that sounds great, I expect I can hang on and paint the rest up while I'm waiting.

Richard, one request when you are designing the French command figures please. Can you do 2 poses, one static pose (with map, looking through binoculars etc) and one more active pose (advancing with pistol, waving troops on etc).

Most of the Pendraken officers are too static, fine for a staff tableau but do not represent company level or below officers getting more involved in the action.

Thanks.
