Posted on 30 June 2011 at 21:00:32 GMT Finally made a start on my Brits to do the 7th Armoured Division for Operation Compass. My mate is doing the Italians, although Ive already started costing up the German 5th Light Division to go up against them for around Feb-March '41! ' target='_blank'>http://i.imgur.com/QWnLm.jpg I know the colours arent quite accurate for Caunter, but its as near as I could get with what I had available, and if I delayed it any longer looking for the correct paints I would have probably left them sitting in a box on my shelf for another 2 years (I bought these in 2009!) I will update the thread as I go. Just about to put some A13's together to add to the Vickers to finish the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment. Thanks to Sultanbev for his excellent Micromark lists which were a great help in working out what I should buy. |

Posted on 02 July 2011 at 16:21:28 GMT http://i.imgur.com/MlApf.jpg Some A13s done. Thanks to SteveJ for the loan of the Starmer book on Caunter. Got the pattern as authentic as I can be arsed to at 10mm scale. The silver grey colour is way too bluey to be accurate, but the other colours are pretty spot on (Armypainter desert yellow spray and Foundry Granite (shade)) so Im happy. |

Posted on 22 August 2011 at 12:41:26 GMT So my infantry fit the support group composition then? So what would the company look like I BKC terms? 3 stands of inf with universal carriers? |

Posted on 22 August 2011 at 17:02:10 GMT No - 3 Stands of inf in 15cwt, + carrier platoon - which can be 1 or 3 stands - sections operated independantly, and these carrier platoons only had 3. IanS |
