Hi,

In addition to painting my Pendraken Japanese I'm thinking ahead and considering the options open to the Marines who'll be opposing them. I really like the idea of fielding 1 or 2 LVT (A)4 (Ronson). Is there anyone making these in 10mm? or will I have to do some conversion work on a Buffalo, adding an M8 75mm HMC turret??

thanks in advance
Bob

MiniFigs do :
LVT(A) Buffalo
LVT(A) 37mm
LVT(A) 75mm (the LVT(A)4)
I don't know if the Ronson flamethrower would have the same external appearance as the 75mm gun. Apparently it replaced the 75mm gun and I assume that means it didn't just fit inside the existing barrel. But even so it would be an easy conversion.

Albie,

Thanks again...
I dunno - I ordered some Japanese bits and pieces from MiniFigs just yesterday and never even thought to look at their US vehicles!! This despite looking at Pithead, Pendraken, Magister Militum and Wargames South. Oh well, I'll get them next time...
I've now finished work for the day and hope to spend the next couple of hours painting Japanese infantry - I'm adopting a production line approach so I'm hoping to make some real progress..
Oh, my Matt Varnish turned up too...Grin

Regards

In case you want to do a conversion on a Buffalo, I could send you a spare M8 75mm HMC turret that I have?
