Good evening!

I've just took some piccies of the finished British and German battlegroups for the Norwegian campaign in 1940. The British force is 1st Battalion The Green Howards, who as part of 15th Infantry Brigade were heavily involved in attempting to delay the German advance up the Gudbrandsdal valley. The German battlegroup will represent Gruppe Pellengahr, drawn from the 196th Infantry Division with tank support. These two groups will also form the basis for opposing forces in the Battle of France too.

All miniatures are 10mm Pendraken, except for the Pz VI 'Neubau' which is a very hard one to find! Panzer Depot provides a premade one in 1/144 scale which will have to do. All miniatures were painted by Mark Dollery.

Thanks,

Nice work.
Do you accepted a tip? Use a white sheet of paper underneath and behind the bases, the picture looks better.

Thanks for the photography tip! My skills with the camera aren't the best, you'll notice that some are slightly blurred or out of focus... practice makes perfect though!

QuestionPete, what do you think of the scale comparison between the 10mm Pz II and the 1/144 Neubau? I didn't have much choice of miniatures in that regard but I hope the difference isn't too glaring.

Give in to it Wink

After all, what early war German kampfgruppe is complete without an experimental land battleship for invading uncooperative Scandinavians! Grin

Ah, if only! Space constraints unfortunately... although... there is a river just sitting unused outside my window... would the council mind me doing some 'landscaping'?Silly
