After a long hiatus, I have resumed painting and basing my 10mm stuff. The result can be found here:

More will be added as they roll off the production line...

What miniatures did you use?

Mostly Pendraken (Shermans, Jeeps), some Minifigs (Stuart, mortar halftrack, motorcycle). The infantry in the jeeps is from Wargames South.

Once again, the miniatures look great. The different manufacturers used seem to mix well. This gives my some kick a** to go on with my own painting. As I can see, some of your Germans wear camo. How did you do it in 10mm? Any hints?

Cheers,
Patrik

Having come from painting 28mm (Fantasy) and 15mm (Ancient/Medieval), my first option was PANIC! Shock

After that subsided, rather than trying to paint every small detail, I went for a more 'impressionist' style. Which basically means that you splotch some paint on till it looks right Silly Splotching is the main technique, something a bit heavier than a drybrush, but not as heavy as a basecoat. And since I like to give everything a dirty look with a blackwash, I also use colours that are a bit more bright from the start.
But I am still amazed what other people can do in this scale.

One more question: You said the infantry in jeeps is from Wargames South. Which pack does contain sitting minis?

None.

Snipping/filing/bending and general surgery to get them to sit down. Except the driver, who comes attached to the jeep.
