I really like the look of Pete's vehicles with the Air ID flags draped over them. Is there a website that has scale flags that I can print, in particular 15mm - 1/100, though I imagine that 10-12mm stuff would work too? Also any technique or pointers for putting draped flags on armor?

I guess I could just scale down a flag from wiki or something, that should work right?

Remember to put them on a bit skewed and squish them up a bit to look like real cloth draped over the vehicles Smile

Well, I would do the job with a scaled down print out. Give some white glue on the back of the paper till it's soaked in and then put it on the tank/vehicule. The flag will nicely stick to the "contours"...

Likewise - I've done it for napolionic ones, bit of trial and error, equally you can aproximate the Stars and Stripes, Stars and Bars, Union Flag, and Russian flag with paper and paint.

If you are going to scale down, be carful of copyright !

And thinner [ie cheaper] paper the better for draping [not for flagpoles though]...fag papers are great [just hard to get 'em aligned in your printer WinkGimme]

Oh - and Scotia do a nice sheet which has a variety of sizes on it...which is great if you're working across scales like me -or just want a bit of variety etc...
