Great photos, and lovely models and figures.
I like your basing.
Do you paint over sand dried in pva glue or use another method?

It's diluted PVA with sand sprinkled on, then washed and drybrushed / stippled.

The tank commander was a seated officer figure from a Pithead staff car with his legs cut off and then the body stuck onto the rear hatch of the tank.
