BC2. I realise that I'm probably being a thicko and answering this question myself, but it seems off board artillery is ordered differently to other stuff ordered in the command phase.

The rules say "Each artillery unit may only be used once in a turn"

In the table it says "-1 Each successive request made by FAO."

Questions.

1. Does this mean off table unit can only be FIRED once per turn?
2. The dice roll modifier is applied to requests for subsequent requests for artillery support from off table units not previously fired in the turn?

Yes - the FAO may request as many batteries as you have, aginst up to that number of targets, but each battery may only fire once.

So if you have 3 batteries you could either attack one target 3 times, or 3 targets once.
