If I want to play with 3mm minis, I should halve the distance of the weapons in CWC. Should I count half the distance of movement/Artillery templates/Command distance also?

I don't play 3mm, so others will know better, but I don't think you have to change anything. We've played 6mm, 10mm and 15mm using the ranges as written as the ground scale has little to do with the figure/vehicle scale.

I think at least some 3mm gamers base several tanks on a single base to look like platoons. If you're using one tank per base, just space the bases out. Flames of War rewards shoulder to shoulder tanks, BKC makes it a bit of a drag.

Yeah, for saving even more money, I use 1 tank/base. Now I ended up with 250 base /nation

I'd just run as is - I suspect the ground scale to figure scale gets quite close?

So, drop down to 1.5mm, and you have a one to one ground to figure scale for real skirmish gaming...
