Question that came up in a game last Friday....

P21 of the rules on "Knock-Out" ....paragraph 2:
States that troops who dismount from hit transport are suppressed...
...But then says "Troops dismounting from transport remain in base-contact with the transport unit at the time they dismount. They may carry out actions during their turn as normal".

This last sentence seems at odds with suppressed units not being able to do anything in their turn.

Anyone know how this is meant to work please?
Or....is this last sentence just an error?

Thanks.

Ignore it, suppressed is suppressed recovering at the end of your turn. It says suppressed units cannot do anything.

Any soft skin or tank riders on a transport that is hit automatically jump off in base contact with the transport, suppressed. Armoured transports with troops have a choice, leave and become suppressed or stay onboard and hope they aren't destroyed with the transport, if further hits are incurred.

I must admit I have not read it that way until you raised it, but if it doesn't make sense then ignore it!
