When using Flank Deployment ...and rolling to bring on a Flanking Formation ....

Do you use the roll modifier for speed of the slowest unit from the Mobile Deployment rule or not please?

We do, but now I think about it that's possibly because a/ it feels logical and b/ it's mentioned elsewhere in the Commander series, as opposed to "it's actually in the rulebook"...

Yes...we do the same.
But it's as you suggest ....not in the current rules.

Hoping this will therefore prompt a rule change if it's right to do so ....
but it could be a potential penalty too far when combined with the CV penalties on Flank deployment.

I'd use it. Just supports a 'one rulebook to rule them all' with "period" addenda, IMO. There's a lot of stuff across the three games and four editions that is "assumed" within the rules but not specified like that.

I'm not looking for cross rule book assumptions. I don't have the other rules,or play the other periods.

Rules as written do not state to use the speed modifier...hence looking for an Errata from Pete if appropriate.
