I had a quick search through the forum, but couldn't find the answer:

1) do portee units need a deploy action between moving and firing?

2) can portee weapons op-fire (assuming the enemy is in the 180 fire-arc of the gun)?

1. Doesn't make much sense if they need to carry out a deploy action as then they are no better than towed guns, so no, they don't

2. Yes they can
