Posted on 29 October 2013 at 21:42:54 GMT In a recent game we had the situation where a flanking formation was able to get units to the enemy baseline before one of the enemy HQ's had successfully rolled to get units onto the board! This meant the HQ got overrun before it had moved and we have some questions! 1) Should we have overrun the HQ or is it immune (because it's not really there)? 2) When a command unit gets overrun, and is hit on a 4+, it retreats towards it's baseline for each unsaved hit, but does it need to roll for suppression? 3) If the HQ had been left alone, does it have to roll to bring units on or can it choose to not roll? 4) Can a command unit choose to only bring on some of its units? 5) When the units are brought on they are supposed to measure from the command unit. If a unit is fired upon as soon as it enters the table and becomes suppressed, does it stop any other units entering because units cannot pass through suppressed units? For the record, we allowed the overrun HQ to re-enter the table at the end of it's next turn anywhere within it's move distance from where it left the table. Still got overrun twice more during an 8 turn game, but was fun and we preferred it to the other cheese options. |
