Hi, new player to BCK. from what I've read so far seems a great set of rules.
Can HQ units from one formation give orders to a unit in another formation, I'm assuming no!

Depends on doctrine!

Flexible yes, with no penalty.

Regular yes, with a -1 penalty.

Rigid no, not ever.

No where near ipswitch but BKC does play well solo, the command system generates a lot friction and nothing ever quite goes according to plan!
