For example, if infantry, you go from being hit on a 4 or more to needing a 6, and from no save to getting a 5 or 6 save. This makes your infantry unit very tough, but only costs you an extra 5 points. Considering the advantages, wouldn't 10 points at least be fairer? Or even 15 or 20? This would knock-on to other field defence points values, of course. But when structuring a defence-attack game, i'm not sure the current points cost of trenches really reflects their value. |
