Hello all

I am setting up a historical Normandy campaign, and need to come up with off-board artillery fire factors for the following gun sizes:

170mm K18
203mm Railroad Gun
210mm K39 Skoda
240mm K40 Railroad Gun

Naval Artillery in the rules has an attack value of 12 but does anyone know what calibre this represents?

Thanks in advance

HMS Belfast was one of the ships firing during D-Day. It had 12 x 6 inch guns

I was thinking of the following gun factors, based on a 4 gun battery. 150mm is from the book:

150mm = 4
170mm K18 = 5
203mm RR = 7
210mm K39 = 7
240mm K40 = 9

I am presuming the naval fire rating of 12 in the book is based on number of guns rather than calibre.

Do you think the above is fair?

There isn't much thought behind the naval stats, I just did what seemed right! I didn't think naval artillery would be used much.
