From the German Army, North West Europe (6/44-5-45) list:

(1) Recce Support Unit (sdkfz 250/7) has stats of 3/120. Is this meant to be an indirect fire weapon like mortars and infantry guns?

(2) Can Recce Support units use the special rule allowing them to be "normal" units thereby gaining the -20 points and field allowance of 3 per 1000 build points?

(3) Does the above special rule allow you to ignore the limitation of [1] copy of a particular unit per battlegroup?

(1) It's an Sdkfz250 with an 81mm mortar

(2) If I read the rules right recce support are almost normal units, they don't have recce capability but are there for support

(3) I don't think so.
