The rules state that recce units cannot initiate an assault.
Can recce units attempt to overrun a Command stand,ie is an overrun classed as an assault ?

Yes they can, it's not an assault, it's an overrun Smile

A situation involving overrun attacks arose during my game at the Pendraken birthday bash yesterday.
A Japanese Ha Go, as part of a very aggressive Japanese defence, attempted to overrun a USMC FAO stand but failed to inflict any hits. What happens in this situation - do the models just stay in contact until the attacker is issued another order or the FAO moves away? Is the FAO free to move away or is he "pinned", also can he still request artillery whilst in contact with enemy? I couldn't find anything in the rules re this..
In this instance I did manage to issue a further order to the Ha Go and he managed to force the FAO off the table..

thanks in advance

Hi Rubicon - USMC calling.

Thoroughly enjoyed your company yesterday - you are a good teacher. Here is the previous FAO overrun thread - knew I had seen it on hereSmile
