Hi all
Just basing up my soviet rifle regiment - history books tell me each section was allotted a LMG , two for a heavy section . I see in later soviet listings SMG infantry units are allowed 1/30 attack against soft targets if they have LMGs with them . Should the same apply for an rifle infantry unit, accompanied by LMG ?

LMGs are already factored into infantry units, so no need to add any more.
