Posted on 29 December 2011 at 20:55:38 GMT Had a an excellent BKC II game on the bank holiday Tuesday - scratch force of German and Romanian allies vs Soviet Mech... Even though my (German CinC) key unit - the SAPT Marder company - was wiped by combined (random) Il2 strike and massed T34 fire before firing a shot (chose not to take opportunity fire and fluffed the command roll!) - the game was still great fun. In the end success came down to a combination of a lone Flak 38 and Romanian ATR equipped infantry... which prompted a question... Units firing within half the stated range gain a hit dice/ ttack dice. Units firing on a flank gain a hit dice/ attack dice. For the Flak 88 its AT factor rises from 5 to 7 - a 40% increase. For the Romanian infantry it rises from 1 to 3 - a 300% increase... Should we have read beyond the QR sheet? |
