Hey
I left BKC for a long time for Warmaster and am now in process of rebuying all my goodies as I sell my 6mm lots.
Chatting to other gamers to entice them to jump on board it dawned on me I'm not too clear on a host of things myself!
Namely:
A. what is the difference between (say for the French 1940 group I'm putting together) a p78 Anti-Tank (ATG 25mm) unit and a Support Unit (ATG 25mm)
B. what is the difference between Artillery Support Unit (75mm) and Artillery Unit (75mm))?
C. How exactly do FAC and FAOs work? What do they order and when does it occur - a doubt came up their requests take place in the turn AFTER they've ordered it but I'm certain it's the same as a command ie it takes place right away during the command phase
D. Can FAC/FAO call Opportunity strikes/airstrikes?
E. Scheduled artillery takes place at the opening of the scheduled turn in the phase of the player who scheduled it before command rolls take place, right?

That's about it, other than a simple clarification that - using the French as the example again - if a list has a maximum of 12 tank units per battegrop that's 12 period - 12 light, medium and heavy tanks not 12 per tank model.
Cheers and thanks for any help!

A) organisation - they are the same gun, just in different slots on the OOB. The Support Units are organic to infantry units, whereas the AT units are regimental/divisional assets

B) Artillery Supports can be fielded on the table, whereas Artillery is off-board only. On-board artillery fires in the same way as other on-board indirect fire weapons.

C) FAC's order any aircraft that have been paid for, any time during the command phase, or they can postpone or cancel any scheduled air-strikes (which occur at the start of the turn).
FAOs are the same, but command any off-board artillery.

D) Nope - you can only request artillery/air-strikes in your turn

E) Yes.

And yes again for the BG limits
