Hi Pete,

I wonder if you can just clear up a bit of confusion for me regarding Engineers and their built-in flamethrower attacks.

Let's take German assault engineers as an example. They get 8 close combat attacks, and also get AP shooting of 3/30.

Q1 - I presume that as far as shooting is concerned, they only ever get their normal 3/30 rather than "flamethrower shooting" of 12/10, auto suppression, etc?

Q2 - In close assault, are their 8 attacks resolved in the usual way, or do the 8 attacks count as "flamethrower" attacks ie always hit on 4, no armour save, auto suppression, etc.
