In my post "sub period bore" , I noted the lack of BA6 stats in the SCW list . But then I thought "No problem , the rules say that to use a recon unit as a "normal" unit , just take 20 points off the cost and it's a combat unit . Question is , do I use the points cost for the BA6 in the Early Russian list(90) which would seem obvious , or the points cost from the Chinese list (85)? Cheaper , no difference in stats , so , which one is right ?

I'd suggest the Chinese as it's a closer contemporary to the SCW period than the Early GPW Soviet list...

Good point , (also it wouls give me a whole 5 points to play with). I think Pete is convinced that I just comb his SCW lists looking for errors , ever since the "Medium Bomber Incident" in the 1st edition of the rules .

Wow, you go that far back Grin

For some reason, I have the BA-6 in the Chinese list as being armed with a 37mm gun, hence the points difference (and slightly shorter range). Can't remember if this is correct or not.

Maybe I was going "stat blind" by this stage after combing through the lists for the umpteenth time. And yes I do go that far back.I was chuffed when I mentioned the bombers just after I bought the 1st edition and you put it into the errata and the reprint.
