At the bottom of Page 8 there is the table for the Air Superiority, my question is does this potentially apply to airborne FAOs? Do they have to come onto the table in turn one and risk being shot down or do they start on (or above) the board?

They can come on any turn you like.

But do they get attacked if they do (assuming the air superiority roll has gone against the controlling player)

Greetings

The AOP should certainly be potentially exposed - for example an Auster AOP of B/662 Sqn was shot down by a recon Me-110 on 26 August 1944 over the Seine crossing at Vernon.

In this case the 43rd Wessex divisional AA was completely unsuccessful in dealing with the enemy and there was no immediate RAF presence despite the fact that the Allies had air superiority.

Regards

I think our Irish friend is talking about the rules - not real life! Wink
