This came up in a game a while back but I never got round querying it here. Basically are your actions and enemy initiative fire considered simultaneous?

If I have a unit and it fires on an enemy, suppressing it, does it get to fire back on initiative before the suppression kicks in?

It's been a while since I've been on the forum, or played so if this has already been answered came you point me at the right topic.

Thanks

Thanks Pete for a very fast reply. Advancing that if I have two infantry units, A and B, and my opponent has one, X, I wish to advance with A and fire with B. Does the order I deal with each unit decide whether X gets a chance to fire. Example

If I first roll the dice for B's shots and suppress X. Then physically move A, so X doesn't get to shoot, correct?

But if I move A first and only then want to roll the dice for B's shooting then X does get to fire on initiative against A, correct?

Thanks

Thank Pete. Enough suppressive fire might give my French offensive some chance.
