Hi guys,

Now i was wondering about the aerial support options in the game.

I HAVE to purchase a FAC for the force to include air support, likewise i HAVe to purchase Air Support Assets.

My question is:

If i purchase 2 Air Support Assets for my british, would i have to purchase two Typhoon Ground Attack units or just one and recycle it for the second Air Asset?

By my modest opinion 1 Typhoon will do if you juse one asset in that turn for that airplane.
If you want to juse 2 assets in the same turn you'll need 2 planes.

You have several options.

You can have Air Units, Assets and no FAC. In this case your air units attack only using assets (determine the turn and target point before the game starts).

You can have Air Units, no Assets and a FAC. In this case your air units attack only after the FAC has a target in LOS(or gets a target from a recce unit via recce action) AND manages a successfull command roll. Note the Errata on bombers and FACs.

You can have Air Units, Assets and a FAC. In this case your air units attack using both methods above.

If your army list says "2x Aircraft Ground Attack", it means for EACH aircraft unit you have you can have maximum of two assets. So to answer your question: yes, you can recycle.

Let's you have 1 aircraft unit, a FAC and 2 assets. Your aircraft unit attacks twice on turns and targets you decided before the games started and your FAC could try to give them orders to attak more during other turns.

To clear this up if this was bad English. Your aircraft would attack once on each of two different turns you decided before the game on target points you decided before the game started.

You can only use each aircraft unit once per turn, whether spending an asset or getting the order from FAC.
