Played last night and I wanted a clarification on recce.

If recce shoot, move or communicate in initiative (or shoot earlier in opportunity) they are still permitted to perform move actions as part of the Command Phase.

I assume that is it the closest HQ or CO who commands them, yes?

The HQ or CO does not pay for distance, yes?

See the last couple of sentences on recce, p.10 for actions.

Any command unit can issue orders to recce, but recce communicate with the nearest command unit.

See note 2 on p.12 for recce and command distance.

Cleach, the recce rules pag 10 say " they may not be
issued orders in the same turn that they communicate."
