Hello,
Trying to build equal forces for a standard "stand up and fight battle", and was using the army builder here.

I noticed for June 1944 in Italy, 750 point limit.. the Germans have 750 points, but the Americans can technically go to 925. I'm assuming this is part of the points modifier that you randomly roll for before a game..

however there is a modifier that's supposed to be in the Special Rules of each army but I'm having trouble finding it in each list..

Please help, although if I can't figure it out, I'll just use 750 points for each side, and that'll be it for our first few games.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

there used to be a random points modifier in BKC, but my understanding is that it's disappeared in BKC2.

Having said that, the Battlegroups online still applies a modifier unless you switch it off.

Hope this helps

Hi John,
Hmm, reading BKC2 right before the armylists, there IS a paragraph for the random points modifier (and a table), but perhaps this is a leftover from BKC? I mean it doesn't really matter, you can still use the random modifier, but I just couldn't see any army modifiers to this roll in any of the army lists. So perhaps you are right, its still in the Battlegroups online.

thanks again,
Chris

On the BKC2 battlegroup there is still a "ignore random points" box, check that and your fine.

That's actually a pity. I kind of like the idea of a random points modifier that's taken into account at the end of the battle, but I suppose it adds unnecessary complexity, when both players could just agree (ok you get 25% more than me, but you'll have to work harder!).
