Hi guys, been playing a lot recently and one thing became apparent.

If say you have a truck hurtling down the road, it has a unit inside, ok the truck is knocked out.

The unit inside becomes surpressed when leaving, but does the same truck offer any protection for the troops hiding behind the reckage, if so what?

Cheers

No, it doesn't block line of sight either.Your men only get out if the truck is suppressed, if its knocked out so are they.

It also depends on what scale you want to play.

If you are playing 1:1, i.e. 1 stand = 1 truck etc, then it's up to you if you leave the destroyed truck on the board or not. At 1:5, (1 stand = 1 platoon of trucks), the it becomes a bit more abstract, as a knocked out unit won;t necessarily mean 4-5 burning trucks...

Personally I removed destroyed units (inf and vehicles) as it removes clutter from the table (I play at 1:5).

If you leave the destroyed vehicles on the board, then it will be up to you and your opponent if they offer cover or not. Smile

i play 1:1 and me myself leave destroyed trucks tanks on the board as i love to see a table coverd with burnt out tanks and trucks. i dont use them to block line of sight or give cover.
