I'm perfectly happy with the concept of low area terrain and how the LoS works when the ground is flat.

However, I'm wondering if it needs tweaking a little bit if the observer is on higher ground? Specifically, I'm thinking of situations a la bourgebus ridge.

Does anyone have any ideas how allowing Average profile targets to be seen at any distance if the ATG is on higher ground would work?

Additionally, thinking about it another way, what if an area of Low Area terrain was on elevated terrain and units were in it? Surely they'd be able to see the valley bottom, just maybe not through the field?

"allowing Average profile targets to be seen at any distance if the ATG is on higher ground would work?"

This sounds reasonable.

"what if an area of Low Area terrain was on elevated terrain and units were in it?"

If it was a slope, they could see out of it.
