I like the addition of the optional commander rule and i wonder if it could be combined with standard command units.

I think they are specially useful for small AFV detachments (just a couple of tanks). I never like the idea of an exclusive HQ for such small number of units.

So you could have regular HQ for bigger formations (infantry & support or bigger armour units) and Commanders for those small detachments.

Will that work together?

I wasnt sure wether you could mix them in the same battlegroup either.

I am just going to have Commanders for all the formations, big or small, I really like that optional rule.

I was wondering about a command vehicle too. Makes possible some of my early war plans!
