P.21 on Flamethrowers
Unsuppressed units are automatically supressed and must roll for fall back instead
Troops in fortifications are knocked out when forced to fall back
By this any unsuppressed troops in a Fortification that are hit by a Flamethrower are automatically eliminated. Is this the correct interprtation?

Any unit already suppressed (before the flamethrower attacks) would be eliminated according to the rules, (page 21 first bullet point under heading of Flamethrowers).

My query would be if the flamethrower attack has to score a hit in order to eliminate that unit as otherwise (eg if all the attacks failed to hit by scoring 1,2, or 3) then why would the unit status change? Over to you, Pete?
