Reading p.20 again and just needing to be clear about trenches.

If I buy trenches for my infantry, they will:
1. Only be hit on a 6.
2. Get a 5+ save on any hits they do receive.

If I've understood this correctly, trenches are 5 points very well spent!

That's my understanding too.

Quick question, though - how much length of trench do you get for your 5 points? I've got a load of Ironclad Miniatures trenches that are about 6 inches long apiece.

Trenches are per unit. So its just enough to entrench one unit.

it used to be 12cm for 5 pts but now you are looking at 5cm for 5pts.
